No, we aren’t.

Some of the world’s poorest populations have a worse lot due to economic shutdowns and restrictions on their movements.

The effects of border shutdowns have been disastrous on deprived populations like the Yemeni, dependent on outside food shipments for their survival.

Some in the west are more susceptible to a poor outcome from this virus than others. It would have made more sense to offer these higher risk populations employment furloughs & take additional precautions than to shut down the entire world economy.

even if 1/2 were from Russia (sorry, not taking your word for it, you haven’t earned that), its still 10K cases in ONE day as opposed to your draph shouwing around 5K in a week. The rate is rising. It’s expected to rise.

Yeah, some are O K with abortion at all stages, yet they’re having a panic attack about a virus most survive. Baby killed at any stage is “a woman’s freedom to choose”, but a 60 year old man with health problems dying of COVID 19 is grounds to sound the alarm.

These are the same individuals who insist we MUST include free birth control in all health insurance policies “‘cause it will prevent abortions”, yet can’t or won’t explain the logic of how couples cannot afford birth control, but have hundreds of dollars in savings for abortion.
