I agree with your conclusion. But I still think the 2016 win was far better, even though it wasn’t as important. It’s not just DEI, it’s all the green crap, net zero nonsense, borders, trans, you name it.
As far as the article goes, they knew they were down going in. Most of us did. I think they paid that pollster in Iowa for that result. Trying to get a late boost. That’s why she retired.

What an idiot. Harris was able to fill stadiums Trump couldn’t? When, at the tail end? Because for most of her campaign Trump’s overflow lot was bigger than anything she could muster.
Her questioning swing states victories is also asinine. There have been way bigger blowouts in the past. Did anyone question how Obama won Indiana in 2008? That wasn’t even a swing state.
Did anyone on Ireland’s late late show challenge her? Had she done the minimal research, she could see Harris underperformed everywhere. Not just in swing states, but states she won. NJ, NY, Illinois, almost throughout the entire country. That says everything.
BTW, what swing state did Hillary win?
