See California Wants To Become The First State To Offer Free Health Care To Illegal Immigrants

May 22, 2018

” California lawmakers are poised to make the state the first in the nation to expand Medicaid benefits to adult “undocumented” immigrants, at a cost of more than $3 billion per year to California taxpayers.”

Not only has California’s communists/socialists and progressives in government enslaved its citizens into financing the economic needs of illegal entrant’s children, now they want to extend that tax slavery to finance the health-care needs of adult aliens who have broken our laws and invaded America’s borders.

Will MS-13 adult gang members also be eligible?

JWK

There was a time not too long ago in New York when the able-bodied were ashamed to accept home relief, a program created by Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1931 when he was Governor. Now, New York City and many other major cities are infested with countless government cheese factions from poverty stricken countries who not only demand welfare, but use it to buy beer, wine, drugs, sex, and Lotto tickets.

A few points:

-California has a $9b budget surplus.

-From your article:

"But Lara, the son of undocumented Mexican immigrants who grew up without health coverage, contended the state is already paying for health care for the undocumented in the most expensive way possible, through hospital emergency rooms. He pushed unsuccessfully for a single payer health plan for California last year, and argues California needs to be a laboratory for social change by taking the lead on progressive causes.

“We are trying to address the fact that, whether you like it or not,” he said, “our undocumented community needs the care, and we are paying for it anyway.”

-Are MS-13 adult gang members eligible for Medicaid?

-If Californians don’t like it, then vote in new politicians?

-It’s not slavery when the people choose to be part of the system by continuing to vote in politicians who will support measures like this. Slavery is not a choice. This would be a choice of the people, and if people there don’t like it, then they can pick themselves up by the bootstraps and move somewhere else.

Lots are. Being replaced with illegals it seems. Peoples Republic of California.

Tax slaves who have a choice. Taxation, choice. Yes, that sounds exactly like slavery. Histrionics always convinces people.

People are always moving. Nothing new.

Well that was dumb.

People are moving because of the further and further left policies when in many cases leads to higher taxes and higher cost of living expenses.

Extreme leftists are out of touch with the mainstream in this country.

California is home to the most dynamic and innovative part of the US economy. Your concern is unnecessary.

I don’t care what you do except as concerns Moonbeams open border policy. That affects everybody.

Why would they give free health care to non-citizens while real citizens have to pay for it? I hope the dems run on it. And all the dems defend it.

The governor of California has no border policy because he has no authority to have a border policy.

Read the Constitution.

Haven’t heard about his sanctuary state?

Illegal immigrants pay taxes too. We can have policy discussion, but the government is not enslaving anyone when they collect taxes.

If you don’t like California, you don’t have to live there. I don’t live there, and you couldn’t pay me enough to live there.

I heard it has a GDP of $2.7 trillion.

Many of them evade taxes as well especially federal taxes by working for under the table cash.

I’m with you in that I would never live there. My wife used to live there and a team of wild horses couldn’t get her back there to live.

Which has squat to do with moonbeams sanctuary state. Nice try.

Says who? You think illegal immigrants don’t account for some of that GDP? How bad could his state be with so much economic prosperity?

I think illegals are a drain upon taxpayers overall.

It must be a really good time to buy a house then… Oh, wait…

I don’t care what you think. The economy of California is and will remain one of the best in the country. The reason it’s so expensive to live there is that so many people want to live there. So many people want to live there because there’s so much economic opportunity.

Like it or not, that’s just reality.

You wanna live there then go for it.
