There is a documentary on Showtime which has a title similar to Burn … Burn. I can’t post the exact title.
If you want to better understand BLM, the NFL kneeling, etc. I recommend it. It will also help you understand police abuse, the federal law enforcement abuse, drug trade, etc. You put this documentary together with other sources such as Negroes and the Gun: The Black Tradition of Arms and you start to understand things differently.
You think one person can’t destroy the country? You think the 3rd Amendment is irrelevant? Look into Darryl Gates.
It doesn’t focus on the King riots. It’s about the relationship between the black community and law enforcement in California in general and LA specifically.
Oh dude. You’re going to have to research him yourself. There is far, far too much for a post.
Here’s a taste. When the King riots broke out, Gates was at a fundraiser to fight a proposition that would have reined in his power. He told his cops to stand down 4 blocks away and let them riot.
You want to know why a police department in a city of < 10,000 has a SWAT team? Gates.
