A harsh polar vortex that formed over central Canada this week finally moved towards the Midwest and central United States Tuesday; sending temperatures to record lows and posing serious health dangers for millions of Americans and animals across the region.

“The coldest weather in years will put millions of people and animals throughout the midwestern United States at risk for hypothermia and frostbite to occur in minutes during the final days of January,” writes Accuweather.

“The deep freeze has commenced across the Upper Midwest with an AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperature of 70 degrees below zero Fahrenheit reported at Grand Forks, North Dakota, on Tuesday morning,” adds the weather website.

In the beautiful Midwest, windchill temperatures are reaching minus 60 degrees, the coldest ever recorded. In coming days, expected to get even colder. People can’t last outside even for minutes. What the hell is going on with Global Waming? Please come back fast, we need you!

Chicago is poised to reach a record-setting low of -27 degrees Thursday morning, compared to Priestley Glacier, Antarctica’s “warm” temperature of just 7 degrees below zero.
