CNN published the existence first, then Buzzfeed publish the dossier and then CNN immediately linked to Buzzfeed for those who wanted to read the details…which they were of course above publishing themselves.
What duplicitous scum CNN is.
NOw who do you suppose notified CNN that the dossier had been placed on the President’s desk? Comey says it was Brennan who insisted on delivering the dossier to Trump.

CNN said that it happened… but did not publish the dossier.

It was Buzzfeed.

And it was after the election. Trump had won.

The existence of the dossier did not change a thing.

If anything it made his supporters immune from caring about all the other stuff that we have found out about him… like why is the President paying himself for consulting work?.. I mean… that is wild.

Of course it changed something. It tied up the Trump administration for three years.
Of course it wasn’t used before the election. Hilary was already busy wishing her earlier self a happy birthday to the future lady President. Why use the dossier as a hail Mary pass when they thought the game was over anyway? But it was waiting there as needed.

Literally everyone had it. McCain at the behest of Lindsey Graham turned it over to the FBI.

But no one talked about it because they couldn’t verify it. Comey putting it in a briefing and the fact that it got out made it news.

It was the firing of Comey that started off the Mueller investigation. Not the Steel dossier.

The only thing that the dossier was used for in a legal capacity was for the Page FISA warrant and that was obtained AFTER he had left the campaign AND they came up with nothing more than Page is a useful idiot.

I know it has been drummed into heads that the Steel Dossier is the end all and be all… but in the end it just isn’t that important and it changed very little.

All of this would have happened without it.
