Breaking: Top diplomat confirms there was quid pro quo

I’m going with no

The conversation to which I refer is the one where it was claimed that Trump wanted the Ukrainian to tell a CNN representative that Burisma was being investigated. He heard that from Morison, not Sonland. Morison claimed to have heard it from Sonlan who held a conversation with Trump. Therefore, Taylor was several people away from the actual statement supposedly made by Trump

Every page of it. Did you?

Your batting 100%
Wrong

You really didn’t read the statement? That’s not the bombshell that dropped today nor the most damning piece of evidence

If you did you would know the conversation being talked about is not the Trump phonecall

That’s your opinion and you know how I value that.

No it’s not my opinion, it’s an actual fact. The bombshell conversation being discussed is the one.bewteen Sonland and Taylor where Sonland said everything is dependent on Ukraine announcing an investigation

Its almost like we need an actual transcript and tapes. Maybe Trump could release them from thise top secret servers?

Or maybe he’s still under audit

Read page 12 of the statement you claim to have read. There was more than one phone call.

And the one currently making the news and being talked about his conversation with Sonland about Ukraine policy

Why are you avoiding the existence of what made Taylor’s opening statement so newsworthy? It wasnt the Trump phonecall

I made a post early concerning what, if true, I considered problematic.
I don’t have to jump on board with everything you and MSNBC think is a big deal.
I have no great problem with requesting an investigation, Democrats investigated Trump enough and have no place to complain about that.
I have no problem with Trump selecting his own envoys, though I can see how a professional like Taylor might resent not being in the loop.
That’s the problem of yours, Taylor and MSNBC.

No the problem is extorting another country for political gain. But go ahead and keep excusing and deflecting from the obvious corruption

The question should be if Biden did that for the benefit of his son. There is a reasonable basis for requesting an ivestigation. It is not pulled out of the air like the garbage Russia collusion stuff.

So you chose the one that Taylor didn’t have first hand knowledge of so you could say he didn’t have first hand knowledge and ignore the ones he did because those aren’t the problem.

Cool.

Because that is the only one that is really potentially damaging. But you are correct. It is the one that is most removed from Taylors personal knowledge that is also most damaging. Interesting coincidence.

If there is a reasonable basis for requesting an investigation, what is the reasonable basis for insisting that everyone knows that there is an investigation?

Wow, just wow

And that is exactly why the part that alleges that Trump demanded that CNN be told that Burisma is being investigated is the most potentially damaging part. Exactly what I was saying.

Taylor said he was told that “everything” Ukraine wanted — from a one-on-one meeting between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to hundreds of millions in security aid — was dependent on publicly announcing an investigation that included Burisma, the company that hired Biden’s son Hunter, and Ukraine’s alleged involvement in the 2016 election.
