Breaking: Rod Rosenstein to stay longer at DOJ

How long has it been since we were told that was imminent? Over 19 months?

William Barr is not a traitor to this nation, that is true. Why so-called conservatives and anti-American Trumpists thought he would go rogue on the nation he loves is beyond me.

Sean Hannity told me it was imminent many, many months ago. Something about “drip, drip, drip”, but so far nothing has happened. Well, they do rehash the tweets from Peter Strzok endlessly, leading the old and clueless to think that something new has happened, and selling more copies of Drunk Gregg Jarrett’s fictional story.

CoJ will always be known for Corruption of Justice until those that are responsible for abuse of power are indicted and judged by 12.

Until then they are gaming the system that was designed to protect American people from people like themselves.

I believe they changed when Barr was confirmed by the Senate.

Rosenstein appointed Mueller in the absence of a confirmed AG.
He maintained control of the investigation because Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III recused himself.

My understanding of the statute is that control of the Special Counsel would have transitioned to the Attorney General if he didn’t recuse himself.

Cool story, bro! A very, very cool story.

No…I don’t think so…

It seems that the legalization of marijuana is leading to more and more convoluted “deep state” stories. Are the old and technologically challenged hippies reverting to smoking weed as they did in the 60s and writing “deep state” fiction?

Not your bro libs…stick to your cartoonist video games.

Rosenstein on Mueller report:

"Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Monday appeared to be trying to dampen expectations about what the public might see of special counsel Robert Mueller’s widely-expected report, noting that federal prosecutors typically don’t describe conduct that falls outside the scope of criminal charges.

“The guidance I always gave my prosecutors and the agents that I worked with during my tenure on the front lines of law enforcement was: If we aren’t prepared to prove our case beyond a reasonable doubt in court, then we have no business making allegations against American citizens”

I don’t think he’s staying to see the Mueller report is in good hands.

This is good guidance. I don’t know that the DoJ should be in the business of describing for the public things that people do that are not subject to criminal prosecution.

We saw the effect of that during the Presidential campaign.

If the report is limited to issues of criminality, I have no problem with that.

Interestingly, though, the DoJ is not the courts. Nor is it a grand jury.

This is getting interesting with Rosenstein and his comrades. They have hatched up a way to betray this country and get away with it at the same time. All the powers granted to the CIC, and nothing?

Trump did not collude with Russia. Hillary was just a terrible candidate. Obama was a outsider too, so is Bernie and his white socialist followers…

Rosenstein is cool…

The Mueller team is too cool and very busy.

okay, but you’re a hardcore partisan. maybe he’s not in his new job (or knows he can’t be).

As long as that Weasel is still there…CoJ and FBI will remain corrupted.

Amazing the level of hatred against a person who’s only sin is failing to bow to the king.

No one is above the law. Not even Trump. They service justice, not the president. If anything is corrupting the DoJ, it’s him.

Again, you’re a hardcore republican who looks at things from a hard right Republican perspective. The real question is, if you had his job in real life would you do the things you say anonymously here.

That’s about the only people he hasn’t lied to yet.
