An official investigation by the Diocese of Covington found no proof the Covington Catholic high-school students instigated or escalated the confrontation caught on camera at the Lincoln Memorial last month.

“We found no evidence that the students performed a ‘Build the Wall’ chant,” writes the report -conducted by Greater Cincinnati Investigation, Inc.

“We found no evidence of offensive or racist statements by students to Mr. Phillips or members of his group,” adds the findings.

The infamous footage went viral on social media on January 18th when video of the incident surfaced online.

The chaotic confrontation showed the group of high-school students, a Native American Tribal Leader, and a group of ‘Black Hebrew Israelites’ interacting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
