President Trump declared a ‘National Emergency’ from the White House Friday to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus; releasing upwards of $50 billion to help combat the growing outbreak across the country.

“To unleash the full power of the federal government I am officially declaring a National Emergency. The action I am taking will open up access to up to $50 billion; a very important and large amount in our shared fight against this disease,” said the President.

“I’m asking every hospital in this country to activate its emergency preparedness plan so that they can meet the needs of Americans everywhere,” he added.
