Wrong. The system cannot prevent all bad people from becoming cops. But the system can fire bad cops. It’s not the fault of any system. It’s the fault of bad people in the system.

What the hell? Do you think these guys were working at McDonald’s last week. They’ve already attended and graduated from the Minneapolis Police Academy for their training to get to the point of being a fully operational officer in the community. Where I would assume that they learned that upon encountering a citizen who is unresponsive, much less in their ■■■■■■■ custody who becomes unresponsive, it’s ■■■■■■■ job one to begin RENDERING AID.

Well, I’d equate it to first permanent duty station because these guys already went through training but yeah… a PV2 is going to stand up to a SFC… not likely.

Well, this won’t make national news. The guy isn’t black. The cop that shoved him should be fired and what’s interesting to me, the National Guard stopped to render aid while the cops just stared at him. I think we need some major training and a review of the policies from start to end.

You’re not obligated the follow the orders of a superior you see committing a crime.
