I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore....
....I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning. I thank John very much for his service. I will be naming a new National Security Advisor next week.
Bolton is a lunatic. Trump is a lunatic. I’m sure we’ll manage to find someone even worse to fit into the position that Trump can toss under the bus 8 months to a year from now.
Since the administration has already scraped the bottom of the barrel to fill positions, it is going to be interesting to see what comes up once the bottom is broken through and they start digging in the dirt.
