Total U.S. rare earth imports from China: ~1,800–1,900 tons/year
- EV-related usage: ~1,300 tons/year (≈70%)
- Wind solar and Catalytic converters: ~500–600 tons/year (≈30%)
- Teensy amount for defense and ceramics and other uses
The green agenda is the “Be dependant on China” agenda.
