Maybe it’s enough that he has learned there’s a wide swath of people who will accept people being imprisoned without due process as long as it’s happening to people they marginalize in their minds already.

I will say they absolutely chose an offshore prison so that they could claim they were powerless to bring people back from there should the courts intervene. That part to put people beyond the writ of the courts was absolutely by design.

The text you continue to quote, has no context without the text I quoted on multiple occasions. You can’t simply cherry pick a particular sentence out of context and apply it. While you might believe what you say is true, the truth will be in the pudding as these lawsuits play out.

Thus far every challenge has been a habeas petition. That is in line with my understanding, not yours.

Biden failed to enforce United States immigration laws. Proof. How many are flowing over the border today. There were many lawsuits. Biden even got his hand slapped by the courts for trying to prevent texas from protecting their borders.

Actually since this is the kind of things rulers with an authoritarian bent have done in the past, and since Trump’s actions have provided confirming evidence, it’s logical deduction not grasping at straws.

Is cecot not under the mass deportation?

Trump would do well to drop cecot and stick wit deporting people to countries, not prisons. That raises due process before imprisoning to this mixture instead of the process neede before deporting as well as what many will see as ethical problems that don’t exist in sending them back to their country. And for what purpose?
And with many it will add legitimacy to the left judges rulings.
