Ah yes. Insults. What passes for discourse here these days.

By that logic, the “rich” should get a tax cut.
It would add a substantial amount of money back into the economy, yes.

Then let’s give the “rich” a tax cut. And a stimmy?

Those people are the most responsible for lying to impressionable children like that.

I don’t have the numbers but I would assume debt forgiveness would have a wider ranging effect across lower, middle, and upper classes. Not just giving the 1% more money.

Why would you assume that? It’s your logic.

Most student debt isn’t held by the poor. But they should totally pay for people like my daughters medical degree, so she can earn 400k a year without any pesky student loans.

Anyone actually pushing for this likely has debt they want to shirk onto you. This is called a crook’s opportunity.

So instead of actually creating a sustainable economy that produces real jobs that earn real wages (so these loans can actually be paid back), they sweep the problem under the rug by cancelling student loan debt.
This is about as brilliant as E-15 gasoline. And they wonder why Biden has a low approval rating?
How do you figure that increasing the taxes of middle class people by making them pay for other peoples legally taken out loans is going to help them? And yet AGAIN- if 50 k of debt relief for students is good and fair and benefit the middle class, why wouldn’t 50 k of loan relief be better for every home owner and just as fair and benefit the middle class?

I worked my way through school, I suggest they do the same or shut up.

I too had to earn mine, but I don’t see anyone talking about refunds for the responsible people, just bailouts for the losers.

Where are you seeing that middle class taxes would increase as a result of debt forgiveness?

Stupid replies allegedly pass for discourse, according to libs.
For the record, at most I insulted the reply. And it deserved it.
A smarter tactic would have been to tuck tail and let your post die quietly, but you resurrected it by quoting it again. Are you really proud of that post?
