It is definitely predatory on the part of the colleges, but also on the part of public education teachers pushing college, college, and college non-stop while kids are in grades 7-12 before their brains have fully developed.

Most student debt isn’t held by the poor. But they should totally pay for people like my daughters medical degree, so she can earn 400k a year without any pesky student loans.

And yet AGAIN- if 50 k of debt relief for students is good and fair and benefit the middle class, why wouldn’t 50 k of loan relief be better for every home owner and just as fair and benefit the middle class?
