Biden’s oft-repeated claims of creating 10 million jobs through the American Rescue Plan have been repeatedly fact-checked as being exaggerated by as much as 8 million, leaving out the unique economic conditions created by the COVID-19 pandemic. And while Biden has not instituted a tax hike on people making below $400,000, many economists blame his American Rescue Plan for sparking the current inflation crisis, which is often referred to as a hidden tax on all Americans. And while gas prices are down since June to $3.58, they’re still up about $1.20 since Biden first took office.
Straight up gaslighting. They truly believe in the Gruber Principle.
When millions are thrown out of jobs through Biden’s covid mandates, clearly, once the mandates are removed, millions will be going back to work. People have to eat.
And when Biden floods the economy with borrowed cash, and there are fewer goods on shelves due to Biden’s failure to repair supply lines, inflation will be the result. More money chasing fewer available goods.
On other issues, it’s a fun game for libs to pretend something is “bipartisan” when only a smattering of votes (or even just a single vote) from the opposition party support some initiative.
It’s interesting to note that the $6T mentioned was “thrown at COVID”, but even more from Brandon is being thrown at vote buying.
money spent to fast track a vaccine? Money well spent
money spent to ensure people had jobs to go back when able? money well spent
unemployment giveaways paying people more to sit on their ass than work… nope
food stamp giveaways to people who were already on foodstamps… nope
giving away free money to people who were not employed before the pandemic… nope
That said, the last two were not all that expensive relative to the federal budget, so if thats what it took… meh
#3 was just plain wrong. Should have never been done. Some assistance with limits to 90% of wages would have been better.
