Get control of yourself.

That does not infringe on our freedom…

You can’t win this. Lockdowns and removal of red dye are not comparable.

You think she was saying we don’t “shut down” because of cancer. But her comparison and contrast pertained to the broader totalitarianism … be it shut downs or other freedom limiting government control. For God sake man… come up out of the weeds to the abstracted level of the contrast in the totalitarian behavior of the government for covid vs the non-totalitarian behavior of the government for cancer.

I can’t believe I have to explain this. This is the sort of thing that would confuse Joe…not a mentally healthy member of a forum. Cheese. You might have voted for him but you don’t need to act like him.

The only reason you “have to explain this” is because you are desperately trying to convince me that she didn’t say what she said.

In any event, you aren’t going to convince me, please go away and leave me alone.

Ahhh… my apologies. I just read that in 2005, analogy questions were removed from SAT tests. Apparently … too hard for some.

I see now what the problem is. The verbal Reasoning section was dumbed down. I guess they don’t even teach it any more. That explains many communication difficulties I see here.

Your failed attempts to resuscitate yourself after failure amuse me. Mildly.

Amusement?
Well that’s what it’s all about… for some. From the link in my post:

“Analogies aren’t on the test anymore! For the past few years, the SAT has eliminated all analogies, and has something even MORE fun instead!”

Yep… the education system traded verbal reasoning for FUN FUN FUN. Apparently your amusement is more important. I see the error of my ways. Enjoy.

Whatevs.

It isn’t me engaged in a wretched attempt to salvage my failed point with some pathetic callback to standardized testing.

All in defense of Marjorie Taylor Green.

It’s pitiable.
