Wasn’t Biden floating gas relief checks as well? Buying votes with public money, yay.

Well, Biden sent $30,000 of taxpayer money to Hunter to pay for Russian Escorts so I guess a little gas money for people driving to work isn’t all that bad.

Zoolander…. The “gas fight” scene… todays left.

Call it a tax rebate like Bush did when he tried to buy votes for McCain.

Proof please. Thanks.

Meh. They have a big surplus anyway.

Considering how much “blue” was paid out of the trillions authored by Dems hidden in their budget deals for mismanaging their cities and states, what have they got to lose? It isn’t their money.

Counting unfunded liabilities?

Abortion rage isn’t working.

I thought giving money back to taxpayers was a good thing?

Everyone clapped like seals for DeSantis when he did it.

The less taxes you make, the more money you get. That is a give away of others money, not a tax break. It just means more money going after consumer goods….I.e. inflation.
Here’s your money…now you can buy less with it.

Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration on Thursday announced he’s re-allocating some COVID-19 relief funds and sending $450 per child directly to struggling families in the state.

“This one-time payment assists families who are being affected by rising inflation and preparing to send their children back-to-school,” Laura Walthall, spokesperson for the Florida Department of Children and Families, said in a statement to Insider.

The governor has set aside $35.5 million from the state’s $1 billion American Rescue Plan Act to send out the checks, according to an announcement from Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis.

In order to be eligible, families must qualify for the Florida Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program (TANF) — meaning they must be unemployed or underemployed, have a child or are pregnant, and have “low or very low income,” according to state officials.

Texas doesn’t count them either. Neither does Florida.

Hopefully you retire this talking point.

Haven’t you heard? For alcoholics, free liquor is the cure, and for junkies, free heroin works wonders. California is a complete clown world.

But not Florida?

You are confused. Conservatives want to allow people that earn the money to keep more of their earnings. Confiscating it from them and distributing it to others is the Socialist/Communist/Democrat way of things.
