You just proved my previous point about many interpretations of the Bible. You interpret it differently than conservatives in 1619. There are certain interpretations that lead to believing that owning humans is your god given right (see property rights)

there is more video to that as well. The Trump supporter in question started the confrontation. All of this is a disaster for everyone. No one is blameless here.

Is a shield also a defensive weapon used by someone who fears they may be attacked? Should they give up their first amendment rights instead?

How about, history has shown that ANTIFA and BLM have rioted, looted, burned down buildings and committed violent acts many times, just this year alone and so the other protestors came prepared. It’s my understanding though that the day was relatively peaceful but towards the end, as families were returning to their cars, they were attacked. It wasn’t anything like what you just again suggested. Families with small children were attacked and you…don’t condemn this. It’s your post that suggests they asked for it. So again let me say this, I’ve posted with you here for many years and this isn’t like you.
