Fair enough, but I did ask it as “we” and not you and your family. Are we, as a nation, better off? He is going to be the first President to have less jobs than when he came into office. Wages are stagnant. Homelessness, unrest, a mismanaged pandemic, political division to the point of pathos are all happening now to us, as a nation.
We have seen children being held in cages, the President spouting vulgarity, paying off porn stars to further his chances for election and blackmailing a desperate Ukrainian leader to announce a fake investigation into his rival’s son to obtain defensive military aid that had already been approved and funded by congress.
I am happy you and your family are better off, but realistically speaking, you were also better off after 8 years of Obama. The stock market went from 7k to 19k in his stead, which would be good for your family. He made it so your kids could be insured under you until they were 26, which is good. He made sure pre-existing conditions would not block you from insurance and that they would have to charge you the same rate, with no lifetime caps.
Those are good things, too.
But you never had to deal with all of this other nonsense.
That’s a delusion, because Democrats have no interest in healing this country. Their policies and rhetoric are hell bent on single-party rule, which makes Trump the absolute WORST alternative option at a critical juncture for the nation.
Did you watch the Joe Collins video? Let’s be clear many more videos just like that can be made about numerous other districts that have had nothing but Democrats in control for decades. Yet when this is brought up time after all Liberals do is give them a pass. So I’ll just do the same.
I, like most humans, have heroes, NOT a reading disability like our President. You have repeated the same words I disagreed with the first time. I remain unpersuaded.
Do you see that sensibility in the current leftist base of the Democratic party or any Democratic politician? I don’t - they are ENTIRELY about the ends justifying the means.
You do realize that starting in four years the tax cut provisions will start to disappear and it won’t be long until you will be paying more taxes then before and in a fairly short time it will negate all of the tax savings you enjoyed?
I believe that there are voters out there that have lost a loved one due to the virus. And that when they look at what Trump did and said to the public and what he said to Bob Woodward in private they are pissed off.
A whole bunch of Americans don’t like being lied to by the POTUS. And Trump has been a master of it.
I don’t believe this. I may not care for Democratic policies in general, but I do know a couple of hardcore Trump zealots - most of them will spend the rest of their days lamenting an election loss.
I did. I think he is a good candidate, albeit a little light on experience needed for Congress. He served in the Navy for a good while and he seems like a solid citizen. Personally, if I lived in that district I would probably vote for him, since Waters has been in Congress too long and I don’t like her brand of politics.
