According to Fox News, GOP candidate Marsha Blackburn successfully defeated her Democratic opponent Phil Bredesen in Tennessee Tuesday night.
“The Fox News Decision Desk can now project that Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn will defeat former Democratic Governor Phil Bredesen to replace retiring GOP Senator Bob Corker. Although Blackburn spent all summer trailing Bredesen in the polls, she closed the gap and took the lead about a month ago,” writes Fox Election Headquarters.
