Black unemployment is surging in 2025

40 states are in an employment bubble? And most have been for years? weird bubble.

Yes well, Jerome Powell has weird policy.
"Does today end in “y”?
" Yes? Okay well it’s a emergency better print money."

The Trump administration has been focusing on sanding off the DEI hires at the end of the Biden administration. But that would just be among government workers.

Were I in business and people were hired for DEI reasons, I’d still keep them on if they were demonstrating that they were capable of doing the job they were hired for. But if they were demonstrating that they couldn’t hack it, and if DEI were no longer a principal of hiring or retention, they woud be candidates for firing.

That’s fair assessment IMO.

An expectation with the end of DEI. Companies are now free to hire the most qualified person for the job rather than making sure their racial numbers are where they need to be. You cannot favor one group without discrimination against another. I wish libs abhorred racial discrimination as much as I do.

Half of all gov’t employees are hired to prevent you from doing what you want to do
“No you cannot cut down that tree. No you cannot build that.”

The other half are hired to force you to do things you do not want to do.
→ “You must pay this tax. You must hire that kind of person. You must abide by this regulation.”
