Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg is prepared to spend over $100 million should he decide to run for the White House in 2020, reports CNBC.
“Billionaire Mike Bloomberg is prepared to spend well over the $100 million he put into his last campaign for New York City Mayor if he runs for president in 2020. And he does not plan to accept any outside money from political action committees if he jumps into the race,” writes CNBC.
“Mike spent more than $100 million in his last mayor’s race. Last time I looked, NYC is a fraction of the size of the country as a whole,” confirmed a longtime Bloomberg advisor.
Bloomberg trails behind other national Democrats in recent polls, with former Vice President Joe Biden leading the pack ahead of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
