Then have been told to winterize their pipelines for a decade.

Assuming data is accurate. if your energy needs is mainly dependent on wind turbines, and you chose not to maintain, improve or invest in its operations, you canât blame the turbines. Blame the administration.
Itâs like being a taxi driver having a new car. Then refusing to change oil, putting air in tire or topping of fluids. Then blame the car when it breaks down.
Well, we can believe you and zerohedge, or we can believe the governor and utility companies. Which group is the expert?
what about the windmills?
did windmill cause natural gas, coal, and nuclear plants to shutdown?
The failure was in generation across the board due to Texasâ failure to winterize.
And as I said before, I am okay with cutting them some slack due to the freak nature of the storm. They need to learn from this though.
but green energy bad look at this picture.
Yep. Libs got to ERCOT!
Dan Woodfin, senior director at ERCOT.
It appears that a lot of the generation that has gone offline today has been primarily due to the issues on the natural gas system.
Hereâs the annual forecast from ERCOT with that 7% figure for winter wind turbine use.
http://www.ercot.com/news/releases/show/216844
Planned winter wind capacity: 3,792 MW
Anticipated peak winter demand: 57,699 MW
Thatâs 6.5%, rounded up to 7%. Even better, ERCOT forecasted only using 928 MW of wind power during the winter.
The argument is 16,000 MW of âofflineâ winter wind turbine power (which is four times more than what they were relying on it to contribute) is at fault? While the 30,0000 MW lost primarily from natural gas wasnât the issue? Hilarious.
not directly. but if the focus was on reliable clean energy vs lefty lulu playtoy energy, there would likely be no issues with gas
and people wouldnt have died.
typical ultimate result of leftist policies. death
This is false.
the issue with gas was pipeline freezing how is that related to wind.
its almost like you have no idea what your talking about.
just spouting talking points.
I am quite skeptical of that article and graph. A simple Google search shows scores and scores of articles (including from local Texas newspapers) that say the opposite
I think somebody created false news, and somebody else brought it here: not for the truth, but for the continuance of the partisan narrative.
And to blame it on Biden? Absolutey absurd
money spent on that infrastructure vs stupid carbon heavy windmills would have improved it
this is false, Taxes had ample money to upgrade their infrastructure they chose not too.
maybe itâs not cold enough. prob need more windmills id say
climate emergency, etc
And once again, donât forget that Texas deliberately keeps its grid separate from the rest of the national grid, so they canât bring in extra power from other states
Its -10F here and the windmill are working fine.
Is that what you read on the internet?
Yowza. Better you than međ
and it was -1 F last night and guess what - the gas worked fine
