Data shows that icing of wind turbines was the main cause of Texas power failure, and Biden has supported greatly increasing use of wind as a part of this climate plan.
The Texas governor declared a state of emergency in anticipation of extreme cold weather and asked for a waiver of EPA limits on power generation. EPA refused to provide a waiver.
Biden dragged his feet on acknowledging the crisis even after the 21 deaths were reported. Biden was supposed to bring compassion and empathy to the office, but I guess that disappears when Texas is involved.
When will Biden own up to his failures in addressing the crisis in Texas?
The data show that reliance on wind energy was the primary cause of the massive power outages in Texas. Biden and other Democrats have been pushing wind energy as the answer for meeting climate goals while placing restrictions on generation from natural gas and other fossil fuels used to provide backup power when wind turbines fail.
Does Biden deserve a large portion of the blame for the Texas power disaster?
Did he delay providing emergency responses that could have mitigated the crisis?
This is as false now as when it was said the first time. When will people take responsibility, make corrections and move on? Probably never.
The Don Quixote windmill/wind turbine parellel is surprisingly on point.

wonder when “climate lockdowns” will start.
really?
well i disagree and believe the data and conclusions in the OP articles.
This is absolutely fake news. Texas only gets about a quarter of its power from wind. In addition cold areas such as New York, South Dakota, and Canada are able to generate wind power even during winter.
The failure is all on Texas for failing to winterize their turbines. And their defence, this store was a freak storm. But to blame it on Biden is typical Trumpian nonsense

I don’t know if this counts, but a town in Utah is locked down due to avalanche danger.
I dunno. Maybe to keep people from getting trapped in them?
Also, Texas has deliberately kept its grid separate from the rest of the nation, so they can’t import additional power even if they want to.
paltry wind power still at the heart of failures
Maybe. I mean, it was a lock down due to weather
oh ok yeah those are good ideas
like, staying in the cellar during tornado etc
That is simply not true. And even if it were, it’s still not Biden’s fault.
Three low brow website opinion pieces and a USA Today article which doesn’t back the narrative. I guess that’s “data?”
It doesn’t matter. “Facts” have no place for those who just want things to be the way they want it. People could post actual objective facts, but they’d be dismissed, so what’s the point? People have every right to believe something that’s wrong to make themselves happy.
Like I’ve said before, at least the cognitive dissidence is entertaining. I have no doubt there will be more entertaining retorts to come.
yeah well op articles say otherwise.
i guess this will meet resistance due to its challenge to the media narrative put out by democrats for their robots
calling sources “low brow” wont cut it with me
i’m looking at data. if it’s wrong show where

And therefore you take them as gospel.
This isn’t a left narrative deal. Ten years ago Texas was told by the federal government that they could have a problem if they did not winterize all of their power producing plants. And they also advised that Texas should consider having a link to other states to be able to import power if needed. It is all documented. And Rick Perry and Republican leadership decided not to act on the advice.
Like I said, it is all documented.
And ZeroHedge, Breitbart and Fox News are dead set to ignore the facts and push their narrative that this is somehow the left’s fault.
And it won’t be long until the facts are going to prove that narrative wrong.
It is all documented.
