Former Vice President and Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden weighed-in Thursday on Attorney General Barr’s testimony before Congress; saying it’s now time for the top DOJ official to resign from office.

“Biden’s call for the attorney general’s head came after multiple 2020 Democratic candidates came out urging Barr to resign in the wake of revelations that Mueller told Barr that his summary of the report ‘did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance’ of the Russia investigation report,” writes Fox News.

“I think he’s lost the confidence of the American people. I think he should,” Biden told reporters when asked if it was time for the Attorney General to step-down.

The former Vice President’s comments come days after he opened a wide lead in the Democratic primary; topping Bernie Sanders by a whopping 24% in recent polls.
