”McALLEN, Texas (Border Report) — Since President Joe Biden took office, nearly 4,000 asylum-seekers who had been forced to remain in Mexico have had their cases been transferred to U.S. immigration courts and have been allowed to cross into the United States, according to newly released data.”
But having a “general fear of dangerous situations in your home country is not grounds for obtaining asylum”. LINK
Now, listen to why they come:

.
The poverty stricken teenaged women are a Trojan horse which our socialist Democrat Party Leadership is counting on to create “anchor babies”. Thousands of teenaged poverty stricken women will give birth to tens of thousands more, and then into millions of financially dependent voters which suck the life blood of American citizens like a swarm of ticks and fleas, and our socialist Democrat Party Leadership not only encourages them to come, but finances, with tax dollars, the medical expense of them giving birth on American soil to create an anchor baby which opens the door for even more taxpayer financed “benefits”
.
And in the process, American Citizens not only lose their country and their children pay the price, but American citizens are turned into tax slaves to pay for the economic needs of the Democrat Party’s voting base being imported from poverty stricken Central America.
"It was 5 a.m. and CBS News national correspondent Byron Pitts is with a woman who is nine months pregnant. She’s rushed to a south Texas hospital to undergo a C-section - a $4,700 medical procedure that won’t cost her a dime. She qualifies for emergency Medicaid."
It is more apparent as each day passes that the United States is being defeated from within, and without a shot being fired!

There is no better way to weaken, subdue and bring to its knees a prosperous and freedom loving country than by flooding it with the poverty stricken, poorly educated, low skilled, diseased, disabled and criminal populations of other countries.
.
Of course we have the radical Ronald Reagan who uttered these words.
“We shall continue America’s tradition as a land that welcomes peoples from other countries. We shall also, with other countries, continue to share in the responsibility of welcoming and resettling those who flee oppression.”
If they are fleeing a warzone, that’s the fine. Poverty isn’t a valid reason, especially if they are passing other nations to go straight into the west.
85% of refugees wind up in (typically neighboring) developing countries, such as Uganda and Ethiopia, which alone combine to accept 500,000 refugees annually).
The vast majority of those Uganda refugees are coming from war torn South Sudan and DRC.
(I’m sharing this because most people aren’t aware of this and mostly think of refugees as coming to developed nations, not countries with per capita incomes of <$700/year)
I have an issue with solely economic refugees but there is a persecuted refugee they can fall under economic refugees to some extent and that i think is missing from the point of comparison
