Plenty of laws passed in years gone by have been revisited and either eliminated or rewritten.
I’m looking forward to Trump implementing his Department of Government Efficiency that will start looking at spending, at bureaucracy, and even entire offices and departments in an effort to reduce government burden on people and on society.

Headed by efficiency expert Elon Musk.
It’s going to be a huge success

It has to start somewhere. Congress can’t seem to do it, even though individual congress people put out their annual pork lists.
Let someone start. Somewhere. If you get a big name like that heading an effort to ferret out waste and inefficiency, at a minimum it would put a spotlight on bureaucracy and waste, and generate public discussion of it. Media can easily ignore the junior senator from flyover country. But they already hang on every word from Trump and from Musk.

C’mon man, if they cut out government inefficiency 3/4 of government employees would lose their jobs, and then where would we be?
When I filed bankruptcy, I paid a heavy price.
For starters, I lost any chance at a security clearance, which killed my job prospects in retirement.
My credit was also cratered for about 10 years, which affected my ability to get things like a home of my own.
Why should you get your student loans paid off with no consequences?

Congress passed a law regarding legal immigration and your party purposefully breaks it…every day…millions of times per year. You are factually a hypocrite.
