Why would the military go against him? Maybe the constitution doesn’t allow POTUS to do whatever Libertines believe he wants. Maybe he respects the constitution to go in without clear constitutional warrant.
You put bluff and bluster into his mouth, and then get outraged at what you heard yourself say on his behalf. Reality is better than that
Why do you mean by circumvent congress. Constitutionally, he doesn’t have to obey every whim if congress .

You can not blame it on the Pandemic. Almost every other nation on earth has controlled and mitigate the spread. You© can’t blame the pandemic and then turn around and say it is the governors who are failing.
What failed is the fact that the federal government did not act to enact a single comprehensive mitigation plan. Opening up too soon, not making mandatory mask orders, failing to lead by example.
Trump cannot absolve himself by saying global pandemic…while having failed to enact at a federal level any mitigation outside of shutting down travel from China, while waiting too long on shutting travel down from Europe.
4% of the worlds population…25% of the worlds cases. You© figure it out!

I have and so have the health officials in Hawaii. These national protests with people yelling and screaming with their spittle flying everywhere has a lot to do with the spread of COVID.

What is you point my friend?
There has not been a protest in my county since late may early June, and yet numbers continue to rise.

The stone gets dropped in the pond and you can observe the ripples go out. Corona spreads the same way and protestors are the stone.

NYC has been able to keep transmission rate under control.
There are protests there and a very dense population.

Yeah…I know. That’s why they’ve shut down all information regarding those that have died in nursing homes. Nothing to see here…move along.

We know who has died in nursing homes. That information has not shut down at all.
I am not going to argue that the protests did not cause a rise in infections, but it isn’t the prime driver of the spread.
We can see that protests occurred in other countries without a massive spike. We are a country that never got the pandemic under control.
This is a failure of our government from all levels. Local, State, and Federal. To me the largest failures start at the top and radiates out from there.

The tally of the death is still marked as covid. The count that is under contention is if someone who is transferred from a nursing home to a hospital and dies in the hospital counts as a death in a nursing home or as a death in a hospital.
To me there should be an asterisk beside those deaths denoting that it is both. But that is just me.
The total covid death rate is not being hidden though… it is a catagorization of where they died.

I find it laughable that you guys(collective) want to blame the continued rise on protesters. There are protests going on in Portland and Kenosha, where else are these great and Mighty Corona spreading protests taking place?
Those ripples in the pond don’t go on forever. You throw the stone, and the ripples eventually subside and you have to throw another stone. Places that had few if any riots are seeing continued rises and spikes. No protest stones were thrown in those places.

Fauci, Birx Cite ‘Crowds’ and ‘Protests’ in Surge of COVID-19 Cases
Dr. Birx is a female. Just sayin…
Apples and oranges. One has nothing to do with the other. But I do not like that they are hiding this information. But I would also gather that there are fewer and fewer people dying in nursing homes. That was a March and April thing. Your point has no bearing on the discussion about protests being the cause. Unless those old people in nursing homes are organizing protests about the horrible taste of nursing home food.

The recent surge in COVID-19 cases primarily is occurring among younger Americans, members of the White House coronavirus task force said Friday.
The five states that have been hit the hardest with a major uptick in positive tests for the new coronavirus are California, Texas, Florida, Arizona, and New Mexico.
“One of the things we are seeing among the new cases—we hear this in Florida, we hear this in Texas and elsewhere—is that roughly half of the new cases are Americans under the age of 35, which is at a certain level very encouraging news, the experts tell us,” Vice President Mike Pence said at a press conference with other members of the task force.
Oh…I wonder why that is?
i think this sums it up pretty well

Texas and Florida are the leaders in rising infections. They are not having the huge protests that are occurring in other States… and large cities like NYC, who had protests has gotten the infection rate under control.
I am not going to argue that protests did not contribute to community spread, but there is little evidence to show that it is the prime factor in rising cases.
Quoting an article for June 26 about what is happening now is laughable. Sure, back then the protests had caused a spike…You cannot continue to blame yesterdays rise in numbers on something that happened in May and June.
You have to do better than just posting a headline that says Drs. Fauci and Brix agree protests cause spikes and not link the article, and try to pass it off as current. It’s not current, it’s old news in world of an ever changing global pandemic.
it might fool some of the people but I am not fooled that easily by a headline.
