I am not exactly a Biden supporter, but I’ll take a crack at it. I mean, if the choice is between The Maniac or Biden, I would take the either Biden or a third party candidate.
The way I look at it here is simple: It’s a gaffe. It happens all the time to people in the public eye. Biden gets an extra pass in my view due to his speech impediment.
Nobody is going to switch their vote for President, because Biden is prone to making gaffes. If you look at the full quote/speech, you will see that he corrected himself and tried to make the statement more functional. All what he is saying is that being white and rich (or upper class Asian) doesn’t make one smarter/superior than poor black folks. You guys think that’s a bad statement? Give me a break. We literally had a President who assumed that all the four members of the squad were foreign born and should go back to their crime-infested countries. No apologies or corrections were ever made.
