Biden Says 'Not Concerned' About US Recession?

The plan now is raise minimum to $30 per hour.

Hey, beans are good and so is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

The title is a question. Please calm down and do some deep breathing. Biden does like ice cream more than anything else. He also likes aviator sun glasses and Amtrak.

Just ask VP Giggles.

Well if the GDP realizes a 2nd quarter contraction wonā€™t be a surprise, itā€™ll be a bona fide recession.
Jā€™Biden and his cement heads can trot Raggedy Ann out to dish the spin but itā€™s gonna be a recession.

Here is the full quote:

ā€œIā€™m not concerned about a recession,ā€ Biden told reporters at a press conference at the White House.

ā€œI mean, youā€™re always concerned about a recession, but the GDP, you know, fell to 1.4 percent,ā€ Biden added. ā€œBut hereā€™s the deal: we also had last quarter consumer spending and business investment and residential investment increase at significant rates,ā€ and ā€œunemploymentā€™s the lowest rate since 1970.ā€

Biden said that the U.S. was seeing ā€œenormousā€ economic growth alongside Covid disruptions.

ā€œI think weā€™reā€”what youā€™re seeing is enormous growth in the country that was affected by everything from Covid and the Covid blockages that occurred along the way,ā€ Biden said. ā€œNow, you always have to be, take a look and, no one is predicting a recession now. Theyā€™re predicting thereā€”some are predicting there may be a recession in 2023. Iā€™m concerned about it.ā€

Which pretty much means: recession is always a general concern but not something we are worried about right now when you look at other indicators.

Trying to claim he didnā€™t say he was concerned is a fantastic stretch for the ages.

I asked that same question during COVID when Trump was blamed for all the deaths of it in this country and never got an answer but it was obvious that Trump was not responsible. Now here ā€œweā€ are and the concern is about inflation, of which Biden did play a large role in it and you approve him lying? Itā€™s a crazy, mixed up, upside down world ā€œweā€ live in right now.

The title was a question. Stumblin Joe makes no sense. Go buy him an ice cream coneā€¦ he will say anything before he says anything else. After one sentence it is word salad.

Thatā€™s exactly what he said.

Which is a far cry from the way itā€™s being painted. Like he blithely isnā€™t worried.

^^^ Must defend Biden.

ā€œBlithely isnā€™t worried.ā€ Thatā€™s exactly what his word salad says. Put his second sentence before the first and it should clear it right up for you.

Not it is not. Come on, Man.

ā€œHe said it! Then he said a bunch of other stuff too!ā€

Lower productivity and higher inflationā€“what could go wrong?

Of course heā€™s not concerned. He hasnā€™t seen his effective real world income slashed by skyrocketing fuel costs or the costs of groceries. Heā€™s rich. He could never understand.

Biden should have done something to keep people from catching covid

Worker productivity fell to start 2022 at its fastest pace in nearly 75 years while labor costs soared as the U.S. struggled with surging Covid cases

The left seemed to think that was in Trumpā€™s job description.

This is horrible.

Would never have happened under Trump.
