Biden is not even placing his name on the ballot in Iowa and New Hampshire? Perfect storm for whomever opposes him

Not that the DNC is trying to rig the election in favor of their automaton but . . .

  • New DNC rules championed by Biden demoted Iowa and New Hampshire on the primary calendar. But the states intend to hold elections early anyway.

  • The DNC rules prohibit candidates from adding their names to ballots in states that don’t adhere to the calendar.

That means that if Biden intends to follow his own rules, he would have to forfeit the two contests, clearing the way for Democratic challengers like Marianne Williamson, a self-help author, or Robert Kennedy Jr., an environmental lawyer best known these days for his anti-vaccine stance. Both have said they would accept the DNC’s penalties for campaigning out of turn, NBC News reported.

The DNC has not yet indicated what those penalties might be.

The DNC selected Hillary and Biden. Voters don’t count. Dems will get who ever the DNC selects.

They have to do this for the general election so they get the point across loud and clear.

Is there anything Biden is involved in that does not morph into a dumpster fire?

What point would that be? The general election is Biden’s for the taking?
Or, the mail in scheme worked so well before it’s in the bag.

I was being a wiseacre.

I would be happy to have Iowa and NH electoral votes go to Trump by default.

It must be really bad for Biden when even ABC is saying he’s far behind Trump in the polls.
They either think he can’t win, or they really want him replaced.

That would not be the automatic result of this, which deals with primaries, not the general.

As far as penalties go, the most likely outcome is that primary votes from thae state won’t be acknowledged in the wider primary. In essence, the states will hold votes that don’t have any meaning

I’ve never understood that narrative. Both Hillary and Biden secured most pledged delegates and most votes in their primary - even if you ignore the superdelegates they still win.

this used to be called “the establishment” when it was a bad word used against mitt romney

now it’s “experience” etc…

Well what I was talking about is called “votes” cast by “voters”.

yeah that’s a good normal word for it.

Yes. Another good word for that is “math” explained by a theory of one number being greater than another number.

Maybe we can get Al Franken to run for president, the SNL version. Franken vs Trump!!! The country would lose no matter who won, but the campaign would be very entertaining!

of course. call it what you want as long as you dont call it the dreaded “establishment” which democrats adore (this time)

Bernie Bros (which you now to be aligned with) have never had a coherent explanation as to why one person getting more votes than another person somehow equates to the evil party apparatchiks manipulating the process in their favor.

it’s a matter of political “business as usual” and “more of the same” vs “new ideas, policies, attitudes, etc”

that’s not what “bernie bros” want. they want more radical shifts toward communism. the pace of establishment democrats is too slow for them

there’s nothing i post that aligns me with communism btw. but you know that

Sure but what do you do when new ideas, policies and attitudes aren’t that popular with the voters ?

I am obviously not suggesting you’re a communist (neither are most Bernie Bros). I am saying that you are aligned with them on this issue - i.e. DNC somehow screwed Bernie because… more voters liked Hillary ?
