We don’t even say that a soldier who came back from Iraq with PTSD and then subsequently died from some PTSD-related circumstance “lost his life in Iraq”.
Most people who heard Biden say that probably don’t even know his son died of brain cancer. So when they hear him say his son lost his life in Iraq, what to you think they conclude?
No, everyone DOESN’T know his son died from Brain cancer. My best friend died from Brain cancer and was a firefighter. There is a proven link between some of the chemicals they are exposed to and brain cancer yet NOBODY says he died from being a firefighter.
The fact that you are excusing this obvious political play is frightening. His son did NOT die IN Iraq. He MAY have died because of his time there, but what Biden said was flat out wrong and a pathetic attempt to pander for votes. It is actually a slap in the face of the families who DID lose family members IN Iraq.
