For me this is a step WAY too far. Watching the clip what makes it SO bad is that it appears scripted. Brandon didn’t gaffe. He is claiming his lawyer son who never saw combat perished in battle in Iraq.

Nothing President Trump exaggerated ever came close to such a despicable lie as Biden told yesterday.

What little respect the military and our global leaders had is gone now.

Brandon is a lame lying duck.

Giving a speech in Colorado to designate Camp Hale as a national monument, the president discussed the many sacrifices that soldiers make before citing his son Beau as an example.

“I say this as a father of a man and won the Bronze Star, the conspicuous service medal, and lost his life in Iraq,” Biden said.

It is so bad because it is so unnecessary. He could have made the same point with the proper detail.

The Charlottesville lie at least had a purpose to dupe voters. This had no purpose. It was just lazy and self aggrandizing.

This is not good. Best thing Biden could do is apologize and use the old time worn excuse that all politicians use and say he misspoke.

However I suspect the spin doctors will advise Biden to ignore it and move on.

I have never understood why politicians simply do not address a screw up immediately.

Its a stupid nickname. Then again I think this trend of using derogatory nicknames for all pols is stupid. And yes I have indulged it in the past but never to the degree thats its all I call them.
