They put a spit hood over his head. Its quite obvious many of you have never seen a spit hood. Its mesh and like mosquito webbing. It completely allows air through it and in no way restricts ones airflow. What it does do is stop spit. So its utterly irrelevant.
Then the guy was high on PCP and in excited delirium. What kills a person in excited delirium is their body overheating and shutting down. You can’t reason or talk to someone on PCP let alone on PCP and in ED and its imperative that you get them to medical treatment ASAP. In the meantime though you need to restrain them and keep them as inactive as possible as activity speeds up their system, further increases their temperature, and kills them quicker.
Not the cops fault in this case.
