The Biden Administration through the Solicitor General is requesting that they be allowed to participate in the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v Bruen Oral Arguments
New York requires people to show cause to carry a weapon concealed. The state does not consider Self Defense to be a proper cause. If Self Defense is the only reason listed on the application, you will be denied.
Only Biden should be allowed to participate. Our country needs a good laugh right now. 
Yesterday the supreme court announced that the Biden administration can participate in the New York v Bruen case.

Congress should have a say, not the executive. Congress makes the laws in our way of governance.
The majority of SCOTUS justices disagree with that opinion.

Sure…But this is what is making the SC look just like another political body. This is a New York case, and not a federal case. Why should the fed have “Standing”?. The verbiage in the 2a is clear. Let the congress change the amendment through the appropriate method if it is no longer desired.
Because SCOTUS says so. That’s all you need to know.
