It’s expensive. 2100 bucks a dose.

It is very expensive and very hard to make.

The manufacturers are having problems scaling up supply.

What I find frustrating is the push for monoclonal antibody treatment by those who either downplay the effectiveness of the vaccine or outright eschew it’s use.

Those politicians want the most expensive resolution to the disease and if I was conspiratorial I would think that that they were on the payroll of the pharma companies.

The vaccine is plentiful.

So instead of thinking we can magically make supply of mABs appear very fast, we can do something else.

We can reduce future demand for mABs.
