Can you please give us the good “medical reason” your vet friend, who loves animals so, performs this procedure most often and the earliest age she is willing to do it?

No, you don’t get it. I’m taking one of mine Thanksgiving week to have the procedure done. A dog I have raised since he was 6 weeks old and sleeps at the foot of my bed every night.
