Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke sat-down with Oprah Winfrey this week to weigh-in on a series of issues facing the nation; telling the iconic television star he’ll decide on a potential presidential run “before the end of the month.”
“I have been thinking about running for president,” O’Rourke told Winfrey. “I’m so excited at the prospect of being able to play that role.”
“For the last seven years, my family hasn’t seen me,” he added. “That’s the far more important responsibility.”
