Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders escalated his all-out war with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos Monday; releasing a scathing video from an undercover journalist that referred to the giant online retailer as a “cult” using “Orwellian language.”
Sanders tweeted the video this week just days after unveiling his ‘Stop BEZOS Act’ that seeks to impose a 100% tax on federal benefits received by full-time employees receiving government assistance.
“Listen to how Amazon uses its own lingo to blur the distinction between billionaire CEO Jeff Bezos and the average Amazon employee making minimum wage,” writes Sanders.
