Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders escalated his all-out war with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos Monday; releasing a scathing video from an undercover journalist that referred to the giant online retailer as a “cult” using “Orwellian language.”
Working in customer service phone centers can be just as demeaning with bullying if you are off the phone a few seconds longer than goal. But Bernie is not needed because it is what unions are supposed to do. Also scathing (and truthful) reviews out on Glassdoor and Indeed probably help. Fulfillment Center is a real term. A warehouse is where you store stuff for distribution. But a Fulfillment Center is where you actually fill out and pack an order for customers like me that might order one 12" parrot toy.
Walmart has always referred to its employees at Associates. Nothing new. An Associate can be a part owner and hold stock in the company whereas an employee is just that. When you are on the inside of a company then opportunity abounds. Check inside openings and go for it. I doubt the employees are making minimum wage, probably more. Sanders is nuts we do not need govt. overreach. Amazon has competitors consider that. You want to run lean and mean but really counting toilet breaks is a little much.
ernie Sanders has never held a real job in his entire life except as a for profit politician who works up disenfranchised Americans, the same as trump does, with, in Bernie’s case, anti-corporation propaganda on his website. He has never sponsored or passed legislation that would actually help Americans, e.g., raising federal minimum wage from $7.25 to a living wage of $15. The only thing that mad dog Bernie passes is self-righteous flatulence. Mad dog Bernie is howling that a trillion dollar corporation doesn’t pay their employees enough so they have to go on food stamps but guess what? the multi-trillion dollar US government-corporation doesn’t pay its own servicemen enough to disqualify them from food stamps either. There are service men out on the battlefield whose families are receiving food stamps but hey you gotta get reelected and keep those donation dollars flowing in so its easier to beat up on corporations than the federal government. Also, look into his wife-y’s illegal activities that a grand jury is also looking into. Seems she took out some loans for a college she was president by lying on the forms that loans could be paid back which ended up getting the college foreclosed on and also evicted or attempted to evict disabled tenants from their home. Bernie Sanders is a fraud, a nothing burger with a big self-serving mouth. When this country needs help, solutions to problems, legislation that actually helps regular working Americans he is off tilting windmills erected to the ego of his own rhetorical flatulence.
