It must be true, because Hogg is tweeting about it too, and saying he’s “shaking in his boots” waiting to hear from Publix.
He’s bullying a private business, and I hope they don’t give in to him. Also, this will be trespassing. If he’s not there to shop, the store has every right to ask him to leave.

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel publicly criticized Peterson for his inaction during the shooting that left 17 dead and others wounded, but he didn’t fire the 54-year-old deputy, instead allowing him to resign. Local 10 News caught up with Peterson outside his home in Boynton Beach, where he is living on his $100,000-a-year public pension. The deputy, who had yet to face any media, simply turned and hurried inside, saying only, “Don’t come on my property.”
But now, a report that recently surfaced has some victims’ families calling for a renewed investigation of Peterson for a case he handled four years to the day prior to the massacre. The case involved two 17-year-old students bullying a 14-year-old freshman, with one holding down the younger boy by his ankles while the other kicked the victim, grabbed his genitals and then took the victim’s own baseball bat and began shoving it against his buttocks, simulating rape, through the boy’s clothes.
One of those assailants, the boy who allegedly held down the victim, was Israel’s son, Brett. Defense attorney Alex Arreaza, who represents shooting victim Anthony Borges, who was shot five times in the Valentine’s Day massacre but survived, said the case could have led to felony charges.
Parents of some of the victims are rightfully calling for an investigation. How the sherrif still has a job is a mystery to me.
But Hogg will go on protesting the NRA.

Publix supermarket chain said it would stop making political donations, after criticism that it donated money to Adam Putnam — a self-described pro-NRA “sellout” running for Florida Governor: “We regret our contributions have led to a divide in our community.”
They should have had the police drag them all out in cuffs on trespassing charges.
That stretch is very, very impressive.
The governor should have grown a pair and removed Israel from office.
I’m pleased to see they didn’t go with the lowbrow reaction and instead decided to respect the wishes of the community they serve.

I’m an American citizen and I can most certainly say what I think should have been done by the store management.
We are so screwed if the left ever regains power. And they will one day.
There are many liberals who are good decent people. But there is an increasingly loud, bullying segment of the far left that is way out of control.
So when are the left wing loons going to actually protest the people who should hold at least some responsibility for the shootings, not to mention the actual shooter himself?

If David Hogg really wants something done about gun laws he’s going to have to appeal to a broader population of people.
This die-in isn’t the way to do that.
