Of course it matters, but the AR does not fire magic bullets … banning them will do absolutely nothing to stop people from killing masses of other people with guns. THAT is the point of this discussion … the proposal to curtail mass shootings in schools by banning “weapons of war.” All this talk about what caliber bullet causes more damage to human tissue is just a diversion.
