'Beautiful name': Trump announces Gulf of Mexico will get new, pro-America revamp

McConnell had more to do with that than Trump. And we know he and Trump are not good buddies.

He specifically targeted Lisa as “has to go.” She won.

Don’t be stupid. Political movements affect parties all the time, and sometimes they even subsume them.

Like MAGA and the GOP.

Like CT and the DNC

I don’t agree, but you are certainly welcome to your opinion.

It started that way, but in 2022 MAGA became a PAC. For some (most?) however, it remains a political movement similar to the Tea Party.

“There’s no question he’s the leader of our party. So now he’s got a mission statement of his mission and his goals and objectives, whatever that is. We need to embrace it. All of it. Every single word. If Donald Trump says jump three feet high and scratch your head, we all jump three feet high and scratch our heads and that’s it,” Nehls said in the clip.

Not that silly of a notion.

Nehis might be inclined to do that, but there are a great many who don’t share that sentiment. I know I don’t.

The discussion was about Congress not you

But everything is all about me! Just ask my wife.

“It’s Donald Trump’s agenda. My job is to make sure we execute it.” -Tom Emmer (R, MN)

Yep! I would expect no less.

Have no idea how that is relevant to anyone asking how high when told to jump.

“But they’re going to make sure that Donald Trump’s agenda passes, because it is the Trump agenda that the American people overwhelmingly wants. It is a political mandate,” Donalds said. “It is not for the senators to decide what will they want to have happen; it’s the will of the voters through Donald Trump. That’s what needs to happen.” - Byron Donalds (R-Florida)

I still fail to see any relevance to asking how high when told to jump.

“What I heard in there from everybody was we need to support the president-elect’s agenda,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) said. “All the leadership candidates were all, ‘I’ll get it done faster than the other guy.’ ”

“No, I’ll let that be a decision that President Trump makes,” Crapo told CNN when asked if he would insist on FBI background checks. “My position is what President Trump decides to do is what I will support.” - Mike Crapo (R, Idaho)

I still see no asking how high one should jump.

You are the one who made that ridiculous analogy back in post #17.

Thus far all you’ve done is point to expected legislative support for Trump’s agenda. What exactly is your point?

Libs are butthurt that they’ve lost all three parts in the last election.

Voters didn’t just vote for Trump. They voted in a Congress that will be of a similar mindset.

You said that it was silly to think a GOP legislator would jump when Trump told them to. And you’ve been provided several quotes from GOP legislators saying they’ll do whatever Trump wants them to do. AKA, jump. But yet you seem confused.

Trump is the leader of the GOP and he tells them what to do. And a a lot of them are ready and willing. Yet you still seem confused. Strange that.

They have to actually say the word jump or it doesn’t count.

And even when one does say it….eh.
