Barr Meets With Murdoch

Let’s see, did Obama’s promise of Obamacare get passed?

Did Trump’s promise to build the wall come to fruition?

Absolutely on both counts even though the democrats attempted every way they possibly could to stop the latter.

Impeachments are driven by public opinion. Even Democrats admit that what they are doing now is trying to get public opinion on their side before taking any votes to make it official.

With respect to the wall unequivocally no. There is not one millimetre of wall that has been built paid for by Mexico. As I have noted previously the Republicans had a majority in both the House of Reps and Senate for Trump’s first 2 years as president; so they could have very easily fully financed the cost of building the wall.

We don’t care how it gets paid for, it’s getting built and that’s what matters.

Once completed it will pay for itself by reduced costs in providing for the illegals once they reach our soil.

Congressional republicans screwed the pooch by not funding it and paid the price in 2018 when their supports sat out the election.

You can hang on to that thought even though it is not a likely to be true in 2020.

I’ll hang onto it because it remains true. History won’t change because you don’t like it.

2020 will be of course a new ball of wax that is likely to blow up in Pelosi’s face.

Your analysis of the midterm election result in 2018 is wrong.

Support your claim with facts then if you can.

It happened exactly as predicted.

Complete made up fabrication…

Finding an article on the net that supports your hypothesis doesn’t mean that it is legitimate. What was the turnout in the 2018 midterm elections for the 18-29 demographic? Was that an increase, decrease or static compared to 2014 midterm election?

Similarly, was there an increase, decrease or static turnout in 2018 compared to 2104?

No it’s a simple fact.

60% of US immigrants are on various forms of welfare including illegals. After they’ve been here 10 years or more that increases to 70%.

Currently it’s costing us around 350.00/hd to care for the “families” and unaccompanied minors.

Multiply that times 1 million of same this year and about 1/2-3/4 of a million each of the preceding years.

That’s nice… but you are assuming that illegal immigration will drop enough to pay for the wall. That is unknown. Especially since most illegal immigrants are people who overstay their visa.

No it isn’t unknown. We’ve already seen drops of 90-98% in crossings where the new barriers have been installed.

Since there is no exit tracking we have no idea how many people overstay their visas and remain in the US.

Solve the obvious and measurable problem first, then we can work on those.

Really? Just due to the barriers huh? Prove it.

No, not just due to the barriers, due to the barriers and the tech that is going in with them along with the rapid deployment capability the BP now has.;_ylu=X3oDMTByNXQ0NThjBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwM1BHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzcg--/RV=2/RE=1570974501/RO=10/

Cool, prove it. Prove that the “new” barriers that Trump promised are directly attributable to a reduction in illegal immigration

See the links provided above

A bunch of articles written before the beautiful new wall is built is proof that illegal immigration will decline by simply putting up a new wall?

You said the NEW wall Trump is building will reduce illegal immigration. Prove that point…

The number of illegal immigrants crossing the border, at any one place, is unknown. So how can you know that adding new wall will reduce it further?

What a completely juvenile argument. The new wall sections are even taller and harder to scale than those built prior to 2018.

The entire border is monitored so we have a very good idea of how many crossings there are along it at any point.

The new wall in the EP sector that has proven so successful was started in 2018.

The whack job idiot running for Senate against Tim Kaine used Trump as much as possible, even thinking he could use the caravans of Ms-13 killers coming to the border as a scare tactic. Whack job lost.

No new construction of segments of wall have been built.

“Before Trump became president, [654 miles] of the nearly 2,000-mile U.S. Mexico border had primary barriers. As of today, that hasn’t increased.

To date, the administration has replaced about 60 miles of dilapidated barriers with new fencing. And a major component of Trump’s pledge — that Mexico would pay for the wall — hasn’t been part of the equation. U.S. taxpayers have paid the cost.”
