Awan "Scandal" Done

So the great Awan conspiracy that Trump touted is done:

No jail time for making a false statement on a bank loan application. And they went out of their way to rip apart all of the conspiracy theories put forward by Trump and right wing entertainers. Trump appointed US attorney.

Ouch. Trump’s own DOJ placed this in the plea deal itself.

Particularly, the Government has found no evidence that your client illegally removed House data from the House network or from House Members’ offices, stole the House Democratic Caucus Server, stole or destroyed House information technology equipment, or improperly accessed or transferred government information, including classified or sensitive information.

Which is almost verbatim what our host and many others on the right have been assuring us was the reality here, and the scandal to expose all scandals. Another conspiracy theory blows up in their face. Do you think they will learn? What a silly question.

How many right-wing conspiracy theories have blow up in their faces just in the past year? It is hard to keep up with them all at this point.

who cares. some footballers took a knee though

As The Washington Post’s Shawn Boburg and Spencer S. Hsu report, federal prosecutors slipped a rather pregnant little section into their plea deal with Awan — a section that effectively rebuts Trump’s and the conservative Daily Caller’s theories about Awan without directly naming either of them:

Particularly, the Government has found no evidence that your client illegally removed House data from the House network or from House Members’ offices, stole the House Democratic Caucus Server, stole or destroyed House information technology equipment, or improperly accessed or transferred government information, including classified or sensitive information.

But I was assured this would end with Hillarly in handcuffs. Assured by Q-Anon! He wouldn’t lie!

  1. This is an opinion piece.

  2. Why would the Trump DOJ be engaged in a coverup on behalf of the DNC? Do you really believe the Trump DOJ is THAT corrupt?

And Republican scandal mongering bites the dust again while the bitter clingers predictably cry about a cover up. Funny â– â– â– â– â–

That’s not another side of the story. Its an opinion piece designed to make Fox viewers believe in something that didn’t happen and essentially contradicts the actual investigation that was done by professional law enforcement. Its a piece for all the gullible people who believed all the ■■■■■■■■ told by Trump and right wing entertainers who just got exposed as being completely full of ■■■■ by Trump’s ow Justice Department. They’re not both equally valid.
