Very true. I see it whenever there is a hurricane and people wait in lines for gas or want to get that item on the grocery shelf before someone else can get to it.

That is totally inadequate to maintain proficiency let alone become proficient.

It’s plenty in a survival situation. Nobody will be working on skills during that time. That’s why you prepare now.

Yep, gained my proficiency in the military. I don’t need to put hundreds of rounds a week down range, to maintain it.

I don’t have a rifle, but once I attained the rank of Master Sergeant, I was assigned a 9MM. Seven years worth of ranges, I got pretty proficient with it.
