I can see “ballot parties”. Maybe like the used to do with tupperware.

I can see husbands controlling their wives enough to make sure the wife asks the poll worker to allow the husband to stand next to her while she votes “in privacy”. In person voting is bad!

Yes, but you expressed concern that this could happen with enough frequency to tip an election. Since you already stated that men vote Republican more than women, this would imply that the intimidation problem is larger in Republican men intimidating their women than Democrat men. And thus logically the concern is abusive men forcing their women to vote Republican could tip an election.

Which has nothing to do with my main underlying concern, which is women’s right to vote for who they want. Obviously I would be just as opposed if it were Republicans or Democrats who were the ultimate beneficiary.

Let’s say there are ten abusive men. As you said, men vote Republican more than Dem, let’s represent that by 6 abusive Republican men versus 4 abusive Democrat men. Also, as you said, women vote more Dem than Republican, so let’s represent that with 6 Dems and 4 Republican women.

For the sake of the example, if we assume all abusers here intimidate their wives into voting like them…

Rep wife (0.4) 0.16

Rep man (0.6)
Dem wife (0.6) 0.36
Rep wife (0.4) 0.24

I bolded the scenarios where the husband causes the wife to switch her vote. As you can see, the scenario where the wife is forced, against her will, to vote Republican occurs twice as often as a Democrat forcing his wife to vote Democrat against her will.

Therefore, the abusive husband scenario leads to influencing the election in Republican’s favor.

Personally, I think it unlikely that it occurs in such high numbers to effect elections but you seem to feel otherwise. Which Republican elected officials do you suspect won because of this?
