Tomorrow there will be a cloture vote and confirmation vote on David Joseph to be a United States District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana. He will be the 202nd Article III judicial confirmation and the 145th District Judge confirmation.
Schedule for tomorrow in the Senate:
The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. and resume consideration of the nomination of David Joseph to be a District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana.
At 11:30 a.m., the Senate will conduct two roll call votes:
- Cloture on the nomination of David Joseph to be a District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana.
- Cloture on the nomination of Dana Wade to be an Assistant Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Following the vote on the Wade nomination, the Senate will recess to accommodate the weekly caucus luncheons until 2:15 p.m.
At 2:30 p.m. the Senate is expected to conduct two roll call votes on confirmation of the Joseph and Wade nominations.
