North Korean state-run media confirmed Friday that Kim Jong Un would be willing to hold further nuclear negotiations with the Trump administration; setting the stage for a potential third meeting between the two world leaders.
“North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump decided to continue productive talks to resolve problems discussed at their Hanoi summit, in order to bring about the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and groundbreaking progress in the North Korea-U.S. relationship, state media KCNA said on Friday,” reports Reuters.
President Trump abruptly ended the Hanoi Summit hours ahead of schedule Thursday, saying he had to “walk” from the deal.
“Speed is not important,” Trump said at a Hanoi news conference. “What’s important is that we do the right deal.”
